Calendar & Hike Schedule

Hikes are on Saturdays. We leave the trail head at 8:30am, Except July, August and September. Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in and sign release forms. Dogs are welcome if they are leashed and you bring clean up supplies. For more information call Dick at 963-8858 or MTF office at (805) 568-0833. The hikes are graded by difficulty: advanced, intermediate, or easy.
Always bring plenty of water.

Cold Springs Trail head on E. Mountain Drive.
Hike up Cold Springs Trial to Catway, east to Hot Springs Trail, up to catway, east to Girard Trail, down to McMenemy Bench, west to Hot Springs Trail, down to Hot Springs Trail head, shuttle back to Cold Springs Trail head 9miles/1500 gain.
Distance: 9 Miles, 1500 feet gain |
